Skin Treatment Clinic at J.E SPA & SALON: Tips to Improve your Skin at Home

Do you have problems with taking care of your skin? Do you feel like you have tried everything possible? You are not the only one. Believe it or not, your skin is the biggest organ of the human body. The principle purpose of your skin is to protect your body from foreign agents.

Here are 6 tips to help you improve your skin at home! 1) Drink a lot of water. Drinking a lot of water will aid in your overall health and keep your skin moist. Your skin is the biggest organ of your body and it requires a lot of water in order to be at its best. 2) Know your Skin Type. Knowing whether you have dry, oily or combination skin will help determine which product will suit you. Look for products that specifically deal with your particular type. 3) Treat your skin gently. Scrubbing the skin or exfoliating too often is not good for your skin. Never rub, but gently massage the cleanser into your face using upward circular motions. As you age, the skin loses its elasticity and rubbing it or pulling it can actually cause the skin to sag. 4) Cleanse your skin twice daily. Our skin may not look dirty but every day we are exposed to dust particles and dirt. We must be sure to cleanse regularly and or twice a day which is recommended. P.S When bathing or cleansing your face, use lukewarm water instead of very hot or very cold water because both of those may damage the skin as well. 5) Stay Fit! and Sleep Well! Exercising and getting sufficient sleep is good for your overall health. Lack of sleep and lack of exercise are both causes of sagging skin and wrinkles. 6) Moisturize No matter your skin type, one of the best skincare tips is to hydrate the skin with a good moisturizer. Of course, you will want to choose the moisturizer based on your particular skin type. Avoid moisturizers that contain chemicals or other harsh ingredients. Go for natural options that have natural moisturizing ingredients that will give you the moisture that you need without harming your skin.
